Guys .... unfortunately he has had "a myriad" of issues , mechanical , and otherwise ... the old saying "it's always something" has truely haunted this guy ... with this one , as well as his last boat ... it's really unfortunate!!!
Here's a guy who did the "right" thing ... sold the big power/ speedmaster boat (BTW , the guy that bought that one did a total resto on it... 41 Apache... and as of last weekend , is now DONE with performance boating , but thats another story ) to go with the latest and greatest stock power/ bravo set-up, and to make a long story bearable .... hasn't really boated ... unless he was on someone elses boat in about 3 years !!! I gotta give him credit for his "intestinal fortitude" !!! He really loves this sport ... it just doesn't love him back .
Anyways ... the boat is now at a "high end" race shop to see if they can get the bugs worked out ???
I've got a 1/2 dozen other guys on my lagoon with similar tales of woe ... it seems we loose a couple each year .... soon it'll be nothin but Searays and fishin boats up here !?!?!?!?!

Yes, the Dragon has had 4 problems this season. They have all been addressed;
1] The fuel filters needed to be changed after about 50 hours because there way debris coming from the tank. This is a warranty item as the boat only has 50 some hours.
2] The tank gasket [rubber] came apart in some small pieces and had to be replaced. This is a warranty item.
3] The drive upper clutch was stuck in forward there was no N or R. This is a warranty item.
4] The stereo or radio needs to be looked at. This is a warranty item.
All these items are being or have been taken care of. In some cases it took some time to locate the problem. Whatever down time he had is not what we wanted. But we are here to stand by the owner and the Dragon. That's every owner and every Dragon. Craig Barrie

My .02 for what is worth. Any new boat could have a number of warranty issues on electrical, mechanical or structural. In my mind you can not blame the boat manufacture for mechanical issues unless it was due to faulty rigging. I would be more concerned with hull and structural warranty issues.
