Katrin Theodoli, the QUEEN of Thunderboat Row! What I like about her is she is so driven and head strong that she will not be bullied by Aventura (North Miami Beach) to move Magnum like everyone else did. Katrin Theodoli's Magnum Marine is the last boat builders on Thunderboat Row a.k.a N.E. 188st and for that I admire most.

I remember seeing a TV show about her at least 5-8 yrs ago, I was impressed then, she sure does seem to have a passion for it

More great info on her. She seems like a great person. I would love to meet her. Now, there is a Magnum racing team right? Would she be in Key West for the world's if the team is there? Do company owners usually go to things like that?

Unfortunately racing is the one draw back Katrin no longer invloves Magnum in. Magnum used to race and was Very successful when Don Arnow owned them, in fact he won the world title with Magnum before selling it. There has been talk about Magnum getting back into racing but nothing ever paned out. Now there are three or four Magnums that still race and most are or where national and world champs in A-class, P-4, and p-5. As soon as I get mine finished, it will be a P class boat as well.

OH, I saw Grumpy Old Men race last year in Orange Beach. I did not realize they raced a Magnum.
