My favorite nephew....you're still in the will but there won't be much left by the time the boat's done.

You all make me realize that I'm not the only "project" boater and that all the work is just part of our way of boating Thanks

Phat, I was working on mine for two years and 4 months. I planned to make two LEOPA runs this year including the fall classic. Well, I am in now and ready for next year. Chi-Town is right, there will be a fleet of OE 39's at the LEOPA run. At least 4 should be there. Here are a few pics of us yesterday to get your blood running.

Hang tough pal. I am coming to Detroit area some time over the 3 weeks. Would like to see what you got.

LEOPA committee,

Get ready for next year. All of the Ocean Express cats will be ready. Maybe a 49 Ocean Express would be nice also. I will also drag as many of the 500+ COPS members to the event next year.

Express 39 and Mark Smith, The LEOPA run has always been a good, fun, run. That's where I cooked my motor, what water temp gauge? It was the best day of my life. Exresscat 39, I've been following your project here on OSO. It does my heart good to see you burning up the bay at cedar point. My boat came from that area. The old Drake boat, guess he ran with Kaiser back in the day. Mine is scary to look at right now but you are more than welcome to stop in and look.Located just north of Ohio Mich line on 23. I will make every effort to be at LEOPA in 05 with my boat. Oh,,,and my wife.
