Looking for a CMI Tube Top, Lower section.
I have a set of CMI tube tops that I modified for use in a Checkmate 251 with the swim steps. I am short one lower section. I am wondering if anyone out there has a lone one laying around they want to get rid of. I know of a few Check owners that could use a decent exhaust system. I made 690hp on the dyno with these headers on my 513" motor, way back when..
If any one has a line on one, shoot me an email please.

Thanks
Dick

Has it been that long?? Wow, that was some time back. But I did have fun doing the article and the dyno run.
Dan, I probably wont make it down this winter, still working on the new shop and doing drives. If there is a change in plans, I will definitely let you know. If I could just figure a way around the day job. Well the bills need to be paid, so we do what we must. It makes me stronger, right??!!
I will check with John, he has an upper that he is putting a tower in for me. Of course I am hoping to find a lone lower. That would be the best bet for me. I ended up with several sets and an odd number of lowers. I still have the original pair of lowers on my 28' with new uppers and tails.
Thanks
Dick
