Here's the scoop on the "Lip-Ship Edition" 39' Top-Gun Unlimited. She is Hull # 3
The boat ran 101 plus a few tenths, with Neill and Phil 1/2 tank of fuel and 92 degrees / 90%
humidity in Miami. The boat was tested by Powerboat at Sarasota speeds and test results are unknown. You're gonna have to buy the magazine for results! Phil loves the boat and very proud of it. The motors are Zul 700s single four barrel. And the best of all this boat is available!!

WOW ! both of those numbers are serious accomplishments. I wish PM would take the time to accurately weigh these rigs, that information would help guide what one's expectations should be for a given hull design. The info provided by the builders needs to be "confirmed" as the hull sits not as designed.

Now if Merc. would just build a drive that would live and not take 5 mph out of these boats

The great thing is thats what it ran straight from the factory to the water, no dial in. After some tweaking it should be comfortably in the hundreds.

The Cigarette was right out of the factory and really wasnt dialed in yet.

These sure are sharp looking boats !!! It's interesting to see how Outerlimits has really influenced the performance boat market .... in styling cues as well as speed/performance #'s.
