Just curious how fast would the bat boat fly with say 950+hp?

I have seen 75 mph (radar) with 385 prop hp, 86 mph (radar) with 530 crank hp, and 92 (calibrated speedo) with 600 crank hp in mine.
I have heard of 108 (GPS) with 730 crank hp, and 107 (radar) with 690 prop hp. Assuming a square root relationship between speed an hp, 950 crank hp should yield, oh, 122.06 mph. It would probably be better than that since a BatBoat is somewhat of an aerodynamic device, like a cat...

Oh yeah - Almost forgot about that little flight. That's the only time I've ever heard an engine have the time to come all the way back down to idle while still doing 80 mph. It did get awful quite for about three seconds there, didn't it? But Man!: What a n-i-c-e landing. Never lost a beat. Still hear about it from The Admiral, though...
