I went from a 35 to a 38 and saw a slightly better ride all around but both are great. NK

And then he went from 38 to 41...all our great boats, but IMO if your looking for the best ride, 3 feet is 3 feet and for comparable layups, the bigger the boat the better the ride...that being said, how it is rigged can have a big influence on the ride. Just switchin the prop rotation will usually make a big difference on the how the boat feels. Add to that different props and X dimensions...best thing is to go for sea trials in your top picks and then chose. Pretty tough to go wrong between a Cafe and a TG!

Also, if your looking for reliability, you don;t necessarly have to shy away from trannies...if there good, they are less a weak link then the drives once you decide you want more HP...the TG hull comes alive over 70mph and gets even smoother in the ruff..

Cig1 --- How did the previous owner feel your boat handled 700's, I'm trying to come up with a plan on putting 700's in a Ts TG, and what drives will be req'd to be bulletproof, and still not throw the handling off.

I never spoke to the owner that put the 700's in. I heard it was an older gentelman and it was just TOO FAST for him... would think it would run somewhere around 105.

If your pimp hand is strong ... the XR's on Stelling boxes with the Sportmaster lowers will handle it ... othewise you'll prolly need Speedmasters :drink:
