yea, kind of thought one would be hard to find, but that's why i want one.have one nice small block package with bravo and cmi exhaust in a 19 baron, but would like a twin engine small block boat.just need a old monza and another small block package.i,ll keep the 19 hull for a future big block project.Ed are you saying the monza bottom was the 28 apache or the 28 manta?hull sides look different in the pictures from chine to sheer.never seen the apache in person.an old racer i know thats into magnums once told me the monza 26 was 27 magnum hull with a foot of freeboard added.boat has a lot of rocker in the bottom, but it makes the boat feel real light at speed.todd iv'e seen about 3 of those old mirages down here in s.w. florida but never a monza.A few iv'e looked at didn't look to well built, plus they don't have the nostalgia.
Todd if you still talk to zasko give him a holler about that monza ,iv'e always liked that one . also i'll try this taber2 guy .thanks for any leads out there.

oh one more thing.down at the dock where i keep my parasail boat, a old 24 cigarette showed up.haven't had a chance to talk to the owner yet.nice old boat ,dark blue with the teak deck, nice and original even the drives look original.might take one of these but i always thought they would be harder to find than an old monza.

minx, assumed you had an old minx by the screen name .sorry.my bad. that carrera 24 is a hot boat .went to the miami boat show in like 77 or 78 and saw one at the show, every picture ive seen their like 5 feet out of the water. .dont remember i was like twelve but high on the boats ,what a shock for a michigan boy with slickcrafts and starcrafts in michigan...liked the 24s, big boat for a 24 . saw alot of great boats including the old carrera's.met charlie mcarthury (sorry charlie if i butchered your last name ,never claimed to be a scholar),but any ways i have a lot of great old pictures from that boat show if i can ever figure out how to post . charlie was a really nice guy he had his boats right in front of the cigarettes.really cool to see his posts on here . i was just a young and dumb kid at the show and he sat and bsed with me and gave me a great 8 by 10 of the top banana ,i always thought that photo was the sh;t.sorry iv'e got to go, just trying to spark some memories.I love the old classics.Charlie thanks for the great posts lately .love the history if you have more please tell.

I have a Minx. There are usually one or two for sale at any given time. There were about 150 of them produced.

Funny thing is that I never had a Minx. The time when I joined OSO, a Minx was on my want list. It is my favorite Donzi. I would have changed my screen name but I guess once you register your screen name that is it.

Cool looking Minx Cuda.
