When you get to this point, they are all pleasure. I think the best setup (call me biased) is the 47 OL. All of the new ones rock, XXX, Big Soldier (King of the Hudson V-Hull) and Can You Feel the Heat. All pleasure boats, and all runnung 145- 170 mph.
The V-Hull pleasure catagory is almost all OL's that come to mind, Jus Truckin ('03 King of the Hudson V-Hull), All Fired Up, Hammer Down, Fire and Ice, Wanna Play.

The former animal house (Sold at Sarasota in April) has been outfitted w/ turbines. Now that's a pleasure boat. 51 ft. A/C, Satelite TV, Sleeps 4 and runs 130 mph. Look forward to checking her out for the first time soon.

Since none of the outerlimits boats race, id call them pleasure. Id say boats without sponsers are pleasure boats, they would have to be pretty pleasurable considering the expense.
If its not a race boat, currently competing, then i like to consider it a pleasure boat. Anyone look at it that way?

If I am not mistaken, Dave Scott holds the APBA World's Record for the Fastest PLEASURE BOAT at 180.234 mph in a 36' Skater with quarter canopies. He doesn't own the boat anymore, but am sure he holds the record.
