If you go to the link Nort (PhantomChaos) posted in post #6 and go to post #28 in that thread, it says the name of the boat was "Bad Boy". I would saty away from that boat.

I did the lettering on it- spring of 2001. At the time it was in Lido dry stack in Newport Beach. Cant remember the owner's name.

I appreciate the response Jayboat. It answers one of my questions - it looks like the boat spent at least a part of it's life in saltwater. It was my understanding that is was a freshwater boat from Arizona. Guess I"ll have to take that into consideration. Thanks a bunch.

Of what concern is fresh vs. salt at this point? It seems that all the pieces that would be affected besides the tabs have been removed. Not trying to be a smart a**, I just don't see what bearing this should have on your decision. By the way I really like that boat but the marks on the transom can lead to a lot of speculation as to why the cut-out would need to be remarked. I am sure that there is an interesting story, i just hope that it is a project that got side tracked and never finished.

The 38' Fever "Never Enough" was owned by a guy out here in California. It had two of our (Pfaff) 1000hp quad rotor efi engines with the Imco 4x4 drives. The boat was never sunk, people are confussing the other 38' Fever with out engines in it. If you want more info call me @ (714) 894-7573. Ask for Steve.

Thanks a bunch for the info Steve. I've heard great things about Pfaff engines btw. It must be fun working around all that power.
