This happened in reverse to my race team one year.
We went to turtle crawls to drink enough beers for the T-shirt, while we were there this girl shows up, her boyfriend had left here there. He was a pilot for the navy, he walked out of the hotel room and onto the base, never to be heard from again.
She had to sneak her clothes out of the hotel room, and came and slept on the couch in our house.
Not sure how she made it home, I think she was from Il.
