I don't know which boat you're referring to. If it is the Ettrore boat, they spun out near turn one and upon impact it ripped both drives off the boat and they began to take on water.

I would venture to say that none of the drives broke because they hit bottom. It mostly had to to with the roughness of the water....

Anyone ever hear about CMS Castaway?
I heard Wednesday that the driver, Miller, suffered a mild heart-attack.
Saturday, all I heard was Bob got a replacement driver and next thing you know, he is getting towed back in, sunk!
What's up?

JC Perf., I found the nose to the Callen boat, The nose was about 1 to 2 miles off sunset key when I found it. I tryed to tow it , but I was not succesfull . So , I contacted race people who contacted callen and I waited for about 2 1/2 hrs till the Callen team came out. meantime we had drifted a few miles. My anchor would not hold. We then helped the team put the sponson into there ridgid inflatible. The thanks I got for saving the sponson of there boat was 2 tee shirts. O'boy . I wasn't too thrilled with there thanks as it cost me 2 1/2 hrs of my time and another $200 in hotel fee's as I had to spend another night.

What's up?

It was announced at the awards that he had two heart attacks and was brought to a Miami Hospital. They said that he was doing fine.

As far as the boat, it broke off a drive....

Q.S. I wasn't looking for anything ,and I do feel bad for there damage , but I do think that the owner of the boat could have expressed this thanks to me personally , for looking out for this property. The person that gave me the shirts was a crew member . Tom

Tom, you did a nice thing, but I would have called it in and left. Nobody can replace your time or the $200
