Semper Fi, I could not have left it and called it in , but no one would have probably found it unless they hit into it. It was floating level with the sea and not sticking up . I almost hit it, that is how I found it. I didn't want to leave it as , if someone would have hit it , they would have lost a drive , prop or their boat. PS. it was drifting about 3-4 mph to the s.w. and it would have wound up in Mexico in a few days.

Tim, It was to big to keep as a souvenir , and I figured they needed it to fix there boat. I know I did the right thing , I just wish that other people would realize that, once in a while.

I probably could have bought it in Cancun for a song from one of those guys that sells jewelery on the beach.
