Re: Flat panel TV for cabin
How about a regular CRT TV? Can they stand the punishment of being attached and running?

Any input would be much appreciated. I still think you guys should put a huge big screen on the engine hatch so we could raft up behind you and watch Sunday sporting events at Fairview. Be like the good old days of Drive-in theaters. :drink: |
Re: Flat panel TV for cabin
Check out the flat panels in the new 382 Formula (there may be a cabiin shot on the Formula website). I think they are using the new Panasonic brand. It is narrow and the speaker is along the bottom. Fits nicely into the same cabinet as the old tube set. I am eventually going to retrofit one into my 382 ... the old one was "lost at sea".

Re: Flat panel TV for cabin
panosonic is junk, sorry but they are. i have a 13 sharp in the kitchen , a 15 , 15 and a 20 in bedrooms. great picture, excellent sound. can't go wrong with the sharp. would have went with a 37 in the living but already had the killer big sony. the 13 sharp would be the best for a boat. i bought all of mine from www.buydig.com. the prices on the 20 and the 13 are high right now. i paid 488 for the 15's and they are at 468. after the holiday the 13 and the 20 will drop. you gotta watch this web page. he will change or drop the price on a daily basis. got all of them within 3 days.
