We had a Sharp Aquos in the main cabin of the 51 OL, and an Alpine unit in the forward stateroom. Both held up fine to the beating I gave the boat. They both outlasted the deck hatches. I would recommend a permanent install on both units.

i bought a 20 panosonic and got it home, the sound quality is horrific, sounds like a pocket am radio. went right back to circut city. sales rep at the store said sharp is the chit, so , researched it and got 1 from buydig. you can't go wrong with the sharp. great sound, excellent picture quality. so i bought 4. on buydig , wait till after christmas and the jack up price will drop on the 13 and the 20 , but the 15 is at 468, i paid 488 in the begining of the year. i'd jump on the 15 right now if you are looking to purchase. that's the best price i have seen on that model. really great products. the 13 uses 33watts, the 15 uses 37 and the 20 uses 59 . eric

Has alot to do with what size you really need for the boat. Just had 15" install at the factory...........leaving today to deliver the other boat (sold it) then off to pick up the 380 at the factory ...had some warranty work done and flat screen installed. I bought the flat screen........the price was alot less with me picking out what I wanted instead of the factories model. We will see what it looks like Friday late.
