a freind of mine has a 77 26' bertram, prolly much different than what your looking at, but having a 77 nova and knowing others with old boats..I cant say enough about how bertram put them together, my friends is in incredible shape, you would think its only a couple years old.. non of the common spider cracks in the gelcoat at stress point, the transom and stringers are as solid as they were new unlike this old nva I have that looks like its been thru a demolition derby, I think home depot mdf would be an upgrade to the wood wellcraft used back then, bertram on the other hand, you can tell they used good marine wood and layed the boat up right. but while not as pretty..my novas faster than his bertram hehehe

I can get a 1978 38' Bertram offshore with 3 Axel trailer for 3,000.00 minus the diesels. all else is there except the engine Hatch/cover. I can not find any pictures of this offshore. Owner tells me I have to crawl threw a hole by knees to enter cabin. states it used to go abot 68Mph . What the hell does this thing look like. I will get some pictures next week from owner. Is this thing worth a damn or what. Fresh water hull also. Please any thoughts are welcome.

Thanks for the info. I read an earlier thread about a 38' Bertram in Bear Mountain, NY with the transom cut out, can you help me get in touch with the owner or have any pictures of this or any bertram?
