This is the thread that I can say NENER NENER NENER on
It's damn cold here but warmer then most of the country. If you live near the Gulf. I envy you!

Re: Sad day in my neighborhood
R addiction... I will do that.
Mopwer... what was the source of your leak? I had one crop up in the same location in the engine I put together over the summer. Only thing I did different is use the fancy one peice oil pan gasket. Not sure where the prob lies at this point but I am thinking one piece gasket.

BT,
Mine was the right front corner of the pan right on the corner of the pan and timing cover where it turns down to go under the crank. Found it with a digi cam since I couldn't see down there in the boat. Hung upside down and pulled the balancer and gooped it up with silicone for the end of the season. That's how I finally made two trips the the C.I at the end of the season. I was doing a quart every 50 miles. I went thru more damned oil pads this summer. I had the potential for another "oil spill" in the Delaware 2/3's of the season if my bilge pump kicked on .Now I'll fix it right
Worst part is , this was the engine that was dynoed and whooped on for over an hour with no leaks .
