Hey guys. I am sorry to say that our trip to Tampa/St Pete did not pan out. I wanted to go down to Tampa to see some family over New Years and to run the boat. They wanted to come here to Maryland to do some duck hunting. I lost. Well, not really. I still get to see them, but I don't get to run the boat, or at least not the Apache anyway. We figured that we can go to Florida to run the boat any time, but the hunting seasons come and go. I guess that fair is fair. So, I will be heading south before too long because I am really itching to get some more hours on the boat and I don't want to wait for spring. I am sorry that I could not make the New Years run, but I will get down there as soon as possible and the first round of drinks will be on me!

If it makes you feel any better, here is the boat that I will be running this weekend. This picture was just taken just a few days ago. It looks like it is about time to start leaving the engine down to keep it from freezing. You know that it's cold when the salt water is freezing!

Hot Duck, Man that just looks plain cruel. Sorry to hear about your postponing your trip but I fully understand about hunting season. There are few things I miss nearly as much as deer season every year in Maine.
