That was the old Animal House. Check it out on www.amfoffshoreracing.com It runs over 130 w/ (2) Lycoming t-53's. It ran down earlier in the week.

Hellfire (46 Skater 2 x t 53's) Made it Up and back Miami to KW........... Zero mechanical issues.
John Arruda's 50 Nor Tec made it up and back twice that week.

Maximus i am fascinated by those turbines as are most of us here. just had a few questions about them and your expierance. what kind of fuel GPH do those use? and also while driving in rough water is it necessary to "throttle" the way you would on a regular boat. i know they take a bit more time to spool up than piston engines and you dont really have the same danger of over reving while the boat is in the air.
i got a chance to check out HellFire and Warbird at the docks at Conch this year. . . . . unreal! . thanks
