I've heard numerous war stories about insurance and have a few friends that out cats and are currently insure'd threw Blackndar ? but rumor has it that there not writing anymore. There are an awful lot on the water and they cant all be self insured whats the story. I'm in Jersey and was wondering who and what you cat owners are doing for insurance. Im still with Blackadar on my 30 Spectre O/B.........I hear their is gonna be a big get together through Mercury and the Hi-Perf. boat builders in early December to come up with a solution to the insurance dilema thats swaying so many buyers and owners to alternative boats.

I have my current boat a 25 ft Talon Insured with State Farm. They also Insured my 28ft Skater with triple outboards and an Eliminator that I had. Great rates and service.
