There was a story with the pictures on another board. Something about the owners brother picked to boat up from the lake and didnt strap it down for the short trip back to the condo. You'd be suprised how many people jumped on saying they do this all the time. I never move my boat with out the front hook connected and the straps in place!!

Sorry, I don't get it!!! That could not happen by brakes alone....... I don't see any damage to the front of the truck, like he would have to run into something hard enough to stop the truck and the boat kept going.........
Maybe it was ran into from the rear????

No bow eye strap or winch either.
I bet the brakes did it.
Does it look like fluid leaking under the truck? Maybe something seized?

looks like the tongue is off the hitch. Maybe it popped off, Causing the driver to panic and jam on the brakes. But it still amazes me that a boat that big was able to slide so far on the bunks. I know mine cant.
