Go out and enjoy the boat...everything breaks sooner or later, I don't care what it is.

Believe me, as an Apache resin bucket owner, you're bound to take your share of $hit anyway !!

Got a call from my engine builder the other day. Things are moving along!

Pistons were ordered, should be here 2nd wk of Jan, machine work is completed, cams have been ordered and we'll be starting assembly as soon as the pistons get here.

Now the tough part, what color do I paint these damn things? The blocks were dark grey and the accesories were merc blue. It didn't really match the boat though. I'm open to sugestions.

Keep in mind that JC assembled them about 6 years ago. Chances are those 900's have been gone thru by someone else "once or twice" since then.

Great looking rig Panther.

You know for some reason I think green engines would look way cool. you don't see alot of them. Hell, you could start a new trend.... GREEN THE COLOR OF MONEY>

im serious, check it out.

Tommy

heres an example. I would use a darker green. and something other then purple for the pullies. maybe green. Im not sure what the second color should be or if you even need one. All green would be cool too.
I painted the throttles and drive indicators a dark green and they look pretty sweet, I think I may try that on the motors.
