how well does a gm 6.2l non/turbo deisel pull?

A freind on mine had a (90ish) suburban with that motor in it. I don't think it could pull his lawnmower trailer at 75mph! Ask for a test drive???

My dad still has an old suburban around the farm with a 6.2L diesel in it 4.10 gears. The thing is a complete DOG...a small block chevy truck will run circles around it.
The 6.5L motor is much better.

I have one. 85 6.2 2500 GMC with a th400. You would not be happy with that truck. They run for ever but do not have anywhere near the performance of the new ones. They are low in HP (140) so they are geared high. 65 is the max speed I take mine cause she is turning some RPM. Your boat weighs too much. You might hit 45 up hill. Find a turbo if you want to travel at those speeds.

Used to call them mash-motors........just mash the gas peddle and wait for it to creep up to the speed limit
Had friends with them back in the day, ran forever.
Can play with the injector pump pressure, up for a little performance, down for better mileage (and absolutely no acceleration).

Yeah.
* not a converted gas motor
* very durable and dependable
* slow as a slug
* zero resale value (which means you should be able to buy one cheap).
