OH/PA Route 80 NEED Weather report
#21
Mrs. P. Last I heard is that the day will start in the 40's but will dip into the teens by late tommorrow night. Icing will be a concern as the rain changes to freezing rain to snow. I-80 is maintained well because its a major truck route in Pa. Not too steep either. The last accident was due to limited visibility and a semi going too fast. If you guys have problems anywhere near the I-79 interchange, let me know. Pittsburgh is only about 1 hour south of I-80 and I will help out in any way. 412-523-3562 if you need me.

We are safe and sound in Babylon NY. We finally left around 5 last night and drove through a bunch of snow bettween Toledo and Youngstown, but kept pushing. We stopped around midnight somewhere about 2 hrs west of the Poconos. Today was a killer, the rain was so hard you could hardly see, I told Ian I felt the drive was like being a contestant on the fear factor
but he did great and drove the whole way.
So thanks for your help, I hope everyone enjoys the holiday with their family and friends. The best part of my sisters house, high speed internet hook up
