Go for the 15 HD... Much stronger drive line than the F150...

Trade that little blazer in to some dealer, far, far away..... Poor little truck!

Gotta agree with the 2500 HD. The 1500 or 150 is too light. I've driven the 150 and my 2500 HD rides better, and is better looking in my humble opinion. I've towed our old 38 TG all the way from Florida to Maryland. GREAT truck, has never dissapointed me.

if you have to have a half-ton, get the sierra denali truck, its rated at 10k..... :D

plus you get 4WS....... makes that boat disappear behind you :evilb: :evilb: :evilb:

That Envoy never pulled that boat, when I saw the rear end I said no way. The boat was shipped down from Michigan to Vero Bch I needed to move her before Frances. I drove back and got a F250 to tow her to safety.

The 1500HD has 3.73 rear and the 2500 has a 4.10, the diesel dosen't make sence because I wont keep it more than 3 years due to business and I won't tow much.

Just what is the difference between the chevy 1500 and the 1500HD. I have noticed the 1500HD's have the same wheels as my 2500 suburban. How does the 1500HD compare to the 2500? (orHD?)

the 1500HD has Tranny coolers, 6.0 engine heavier springs, I see it as a 2500 with a 3.73 instead of 4.10. I hope R.Addiction chimes in soon and give us the facts.

The Denali has an 8k tow rating all wheel drive no 4ws, that comes from the brochure.

they dropped the 4WS for '05, not enough people willing to pony up 3500 for it....

04's are 4WS extended cab 10k tow....

05's are crewcab, no 4WS, 8100 std tow, 9200 max tow, whatever that means.....

tows my 30 spectre everywhere just fine and it whips around dually's at the ramp :evilb:
