Let's see "too much" in an offshore boat in a country that sells gas $7 a gallon?
My guess is go with anything you want!!!

Friend of mine has the exact same wheel in orange on his Donzi. Cool for sure.....Hell, curb feelers would look cool on your Scarab...

Sorry NO , you've already left the classic genre with the gauges , not only that wheel was not oem on them boats ..I think it was oem on the bumper cars at the fair though.. Id go with a platinum finish wheel to match the rims on your gauges..Get a silver center hub also.. my 2 cents
