OK, so maybe pictures of them on trailers isn't the best way to judge.

Still, I have a hard time believeing that the 24 isn't going to look just as stubby and goofy in the water too.

Let's hope that Skater isn't going to make the same mistake Fountain made a few years back when they redesigned all their decks.

It may be the fastest, most efficient thing on the water, but if it looks like poop.....

Then again, maybe Skater can pull it off. There are a lot of people who seem to want to buy anything that rolls out of that place.

Whoa!

Maybe they don't look that much better in the water.

Yes, it does look a little better than on the trailer, but I still don't care for it all that much.

Nice paint job though. Kind of like polishing poop.

Looks like it could get a lot of downforce on the nose. They made a new design in 1995 on a new 46 for Recovery race team.It turned out to be a bomb.It was scrapped.

People don't buy Skaters for the way they look. People buy Skaters for the way they run.

So if people buy Skaters for how they run, not how they look, why are the guys at TAOD making a good living putting $40,000 paint jobs on them?

Maybe people who buy Skaters aren't as swayed by looks as Fountain owners. Who knows, beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess. I just know that if I was going to spend that much money on a boat, I would expect it to look great and perform great.

But, looks do matter to a certain extent no matter what the category. If you think Fountain "reintroduced" the "Executioner Series" just for sentimental purposes you need to get your head checked.
