Looks like a bar is missing

I don`t think so. #6s have the steering rams built into the transom assembly. The only bar on the back is the one hooking the two together. I think that what you may be mistaking for a steering ram on the port drive is really a paint line on the transom.

That thing was out in Havasu this summer and Extreme Mag did a spread with Bourgets bike and the boat. That thing was a flag ship for Cig for a while.

Here it is at our Milk Run last July.

The numbers I heard was for it selling in the hi $600's not 8's. What's printed and what happens whena qualified buyer starts negotiating are two very different things.

Maybe it's an optical illusion,but the starboard tailpipe on both motors looks like it is tipped down?? That white paint stripe on the transom is confusing things now that you mention it.
