I've been plowing since I was 16 and used all sorts of stuff...best plow is a Western in my opinion. All the full time guys I know use them aswell, fwe exceptions. Your approx cost is correct, about 2.5-3K.

It will pay for itself too, just know that snow plowing is VERY hard on equipment. If you are really in it to make $, buy a salt spreader as well. About 1/2 of my billing is usually salt.

Good luck.

I'd bang on the neighbors door and demand the owners insurance info.

Allen4 - As far as the Western blade, your not from round here are ya boy? This be Fisher country Fisher is in Maine and pretty much own the northeast, 99 of 100 evry plow you see. Pantera, grab a bargain hunter and get one used if low to no use.

CMG...same story down here in Cincy with the Westerns....

Those Rhodo's are pricey, and I doubt you will find a replacement at that size. If you do, someone is going to cut a pretty good sized check. Big plants are hard to find.

SOrry to hear your stuff was torn up. Good luck and happy plowing
