Dreamer I went from my Playboy to a 29 cat. It's not the ride of a Nor-tech, but it handles LOTO just fine.
I love the sit-down (after getting used to it in a few hours, and even looking through canopies is no big deal, as long as they a made well and distortion free as mine are.

Insurance sucks. Period.
I hope that Tres' program helps with that. I haven't talked to Sy lately, but he was hoping to come up with something reasonable for cats.

You will love the cat, they are just different.
Hell I love all the boats, I would own and drive every one of them if I could!

Sure like that new 30 Skater though.

i have noticed in similiar size boats that true tunnel cats handle the water better... not those lake cats with those center pods and stuff... but foot to foot you really can't compare a offshore cat to an offshore vee, cat wins everytime in my book..

I had a 30 Cobra Cat w/ twin 300 Promax's and bought a new 33 Baja Outlaw in '03. The cat scared the sh#t out of my wife; i.e. speed and wasn't comfortable w/ our 3 little boys. I'm hoping to be in a 36 Nortech w/in 3 yrs.

I was worried about that too, but my first run got rid of all that. Cats seem to float over everything and fly level.
