How can you compare those 2 paint jobs. Fountain paint is OK, not great. The actual design (the lines) are up-to-date. The Formula stuff is just bad. Cigarette has been the nicest lately, I think.

It is? That would be nice. I like the all white interior too.

Formula's paint is applied in-house. VERY nice booth facilitites and great people, most of them women. TAoD advises in the layout and templates, but John Adams has the ultimate say. Given the problems I went through in getting my all-silver paintjob done, I wish that I had sent it to TAoD as soon as it left the factory. (Formula is too busy to do any custom wrok at the plant.)

When you say you like what Cigarette is doing - much (but not all) of that is TAoD...

Yes, but did you see them all at the same time? Troutly moves around a lot, and when he's facing the other way it looks like he's wearing a sweater. Could have all been the same boat.

This ain't quiet no more.....It rattled my neighbors windows four houses up.

I've never liked the magenta in the palm beach graphics (Outlaw is an 89'), and am planning on painting over the magenta with yellow until I can afford to have the boat painted white.

Nort: I love the look of your boat, I think there is beauty in "simplicity"...

I thought the "Infared" graphics were okay, but I have not liked much of Formula's paint over the last four or five years.

Formula needs to look at what Sunsation does with their graphics. Of course, Sunsation has a ringer in the form of MitcherT, but for what the Porters get for their boats I'm figuring they could bring in a talented free agent...
