You know, it's not very often that I post anything serious, but I think this subject deserves it.

I really think we all underestimate Dan's resolve and courage....I sometimes find myself at a loss for words. After all, it takes guts to openly show your support for the gay community like Dan has in that paintjob. He flies those rainbow colors proudly, at the risk of being ridiculed by the heterosexual boating community.

Dan has put his money where his mouth is (pardon the expression), and I salute him (from a distance, of course).

Dan, please don't misinterpret what I am saying. I actually applaud you for supporting the gay community through your paint job. In fact, I'll bet the gay community would be proud to have your boat lead their "gay pride" parade (on the trailer, of course, since it doesn't run on the water).

Once again, please understand that I think you are a brave individual. In fact, when I passed you at the last poker run, I was tempted to give you a tow, but when I saw that all the guys in your boat seemed to really be enjoying each other's company, I kept going.
