Thanks for the pics of the little Rhino in post #144. My buddy and myself own a 79' 29mirage - Pete Smith's old pleasure version of the Wolverine. Playing with it in the summers and restoring it during the winters.

Post #157 Jerry Jacoby and Wayne Vickers as throttleman in Brut.
Wayne was one of the pros in the game and had been around many years, mainly with Joel Halpern in Beep Beep during the years he was national champion.

Post # 143 and 144 shows some of the "pleasure boaters" of that era in Miami in the background.
You will notice a pale green 28 SS Cigarette and a red Magnum 35 and also a 36 foot Performer which was Bill Elswick's company. That maroon boat was the show boat that year for Performer at the Miami Boat Show. It had triple engines with TRS drives.
The dry pits were located on the bridge leading over to the island right in front of the Four Ambassadors Hotel. As you can see, a lot of money was put into the tow rigs back in those days.....for the real big show offs they put a cap on the back of the pickup's.
I think that the 40 Cigarette..."Really Ridiculous" was formerly owned by Diamond Don, himself quite a character, who ended up deceased because of an indiscretion of some sort.
