Ref post #162; I rode with Aranow in Long Beach SanDiego & Next day return. Everybody got a kick out of Bill Cooper & Daryl Jenkins boat "Spooky". Afterwards, Daryl said he just had the fastest enema in world history. Steve Sirois

Too bad our kids will never experience it. Glad I was in that era and in Florida. Great memories...
Thanks to all who have posted pics and stories. Makes me smile.

Just a couple of miner clarifications, Rocky first raced a 28' Barcone (S-911) in sportsman class prior to purchasing "Spirit". "Copper Kettle" in post 74 is a "Gara" hull-later the molds were sold to Corsa.
Question-In post 75, what boat is 452 "Killer...", it appears to be a 28 Bertram. Any idea what hull this is??
Keep the pics coming!
It was my boat - Needle Nose - sold the boat to Ken Black - he repainted it for his wife ! - heard the boat burned in a fire at a whse.
