I was relieved to hear no one was injured! Doug's contribution to offshore race boats is tremendous.
On a positive note I have all my rigging in place waiting for my 32' which Jr. is surpassing all my expectations.
Thanks for all that you both do!

Dan,
Is John V. from Offshore Concepts still rigging your boat?? I thought I saw you post that awhile back. Just glad the damage was not worse. Someone was looking out.

John's a great guy. I met him a few years back. He was racing with Kirk D. in the High Risk boat and He and I worked with the Skater V bottom when it first raced in Key West that year along with a bunch of other talented guys as well. Man was it busy under that Tent that year. I think it was the Skater V, Snakeman Racing and High Risk all huddled around that tent. He has been in charge of Paul Whittier's Ettore Squeegee's SuperCat Lite. I know he is a great guy with outboard setups from his time spent working for Mercury at Lake X. You guys definitely made a good choice with him. Pass along some photos when you get them.
