Apparently youve never been to Ohio. One of our favorite sayings here is "Dont like the weather? Wait 5 minutes, it will change".

In the last 4 hours ... Ive had snow, sun, wind, snow w/sun and no wind, snow/no sun and wind, sun w/wind and no snow .... right now its no sun, no snow, just wind ... lol weather mans dream! He'll get it right at least once! :D

"Pennys from heaven" After a nice long afternoon nap, I wont be back till tomorrow afternoon. Looks like its averaging an inch an hour and sure more later on. Weather channel just said wind gust over 50 mph after midnite. Everyone be safe!

Well....this just in from the NWS....NO dry slot to work in in my area of SE Connecticut. This would have kept amounts under 20". I live about 10 miles inland, 3 miles north of the Merritt Parkway. We always get dumped on...but now we are supposed to get 20" to possibly 28"+ by tomorrow afternoon. Cool ****! I LOVE winter!! :evilb: :evilb:

I've got my grandpa's 1969 Ariens snowblower. This thing is a TANK, but it only came with a 5hp...so like Tim Allen says.."I needed MORE POWER!"...So I put a 8hp Briggs & Stratton engine on it. Now it throws snow 2x farther than it did when it was new!

This stuff is so fluffy..it will really toss it well! Oooo I can't wait! :evilb: :evilb: :D :D

Temp is now 10F! Yayy! :D :D :D

The only thing that sucks is that I don't lose a day from work...

It's really brutal here as well. Today it was down into the upper 70's. Tonight we are expecting temperatures to dip into the 60's. The news channels are interrupting regular programming with warnings - "For the love of God, get your pets inside. If you have any elderly relatives, stay in contact, etc." . . . there has been near panic at the local supermarkets for "survival - type" supplies - water, batteries, suntan lotion . . .

Pray for us. It's the Apocalypse.

Just got done doing the driveway. I basically gave up. It is coming down so hard that when you are done you have to do it all over again. For some odd reason the damn snow plows are going past my house like every 5 min or so!!!  All I can say is that the damn 8hp snow blower was working hard and the snow was up to the top of it. Tomarrow AM is going to SUCK.

We were supposed to get in excess of 20 inches yesterday and today. I'm a tad disappointed because I think we only got 18 inches. :D

Took the kids out snowmobiling yesterday...they're troppers and we went 60 miles. (I know, that's not far, but two of the drivers were 12 and 14, and one was 10). We had a ball! While everybody else is cowering in their houses hoping to stay warm - we're out there livin it up. :D

Hard to tell exactly how much we got here so far...but I would guess somewhere close to two feet....  ....we're on the north shore of Long Island.

Just woke up to winter wonder land. Looks like a easy 2 feet outside and still coming down like crazy. Now the problem starts if it gets windy clean up is going to SUCK. They are saying maybe 40-50mph winds later today.

When this state breaks off, it will be along the border with Arizona and Nevada. . . . as the rest of North America slowly settles beneath the waves, I fully expect to see an armada of offshore boats approaching from the East.

You will be welcome here. Just don't breed with our women.
