Yep, he was scared to take his boat out cause he thought something serious was wrong. I don't recall how he figured it out but he was a happy camper. With EFI systems the battery/voltage is very important.

I just ordered a NX nos kit. It is for EFI and comes with 35,50, 75,100, and 150 HP jets. I will have to wait for spring to hook it up. I hope to see 70 MPH with the 50 HP kit.

I have a 1996 in great condition with a new 2003 5.8 GTX with less than 100 Hours on it. Boat runs great and fast. Does not have the dup prop which was a handling issue!

Actually it has a 5.7 GXi, 320 pshp. :)
