It's to bad so many Cary 50's have been canniblelized. They do require a lot of time and money but well worth the effort if you can find one in decent condition.

I'm looking at an '86 50' on Lake Erie named "NAIL IT!!"
Is anyone familiar with this boat? History? Photos?

poolsinc1 . . . I've got a friend here on Lake St. Cair with a Super Nova 19, too! Named 'SUPER BUZZ!"

Check this out. Stumbled upon it last week. Some good shots of the Cary.

Why don't you repower with diesels? The fuel burn of those gas motors must be huge.

Is this boat still up for sale? If so, what is the asking price?
Has there been done anything more with the boat?

Trivia Question:

Dimensionally, what popular performance boat is the 50' Cary an exploded version of?
