Livorsi tachmomters
Does Livorsi make tachometers for Diesel engines? if that, can you get a mechanical tach?
|
Re: Livorsi tachmomters
Most diesel engines today use pulse adapters. A electronic device that the tac drive turns that sends the pulse to tachometer. Allows you to use any tachometer head you want.

Re: Livorsi tachmomters
Not this one. its a cable that runs from the alternator to the Gage. Old school

Re: Livorsi tachmomters
The end of the cable has a threaded coupler on it ? Undo the cable at Alt. screw the electronic tac adapter on Alt. Bingo! Some put the tac adapter in the dash. just undo tac cable from tac and put elecronic tac adapter on then wire up any tac you want. The electronic tac adapters we use are Stewart Warner's if I remember correctly.
