Default Miami area launch ramps

How many ramps in the Miami area are suitable for launching a 38-foot boat? Where are they?

Thanks Marc. Tonto mentioned that one too, but cautioned me that it can be quite rough there sometimes.
Are you going to be doing any boating there during the boat show?

Where are you staying?

Haulover is far north. Matheson Hammock down south is good. I think the 79th street ramp is still good, it's sort of in the middle. Key Biscayne ramp is good, but the tolls will kill ya on the causeway....

Can you tell me where the 79th St. ramp is? Is it the Pelican Ramp? The plan is to stay at the Amerisuites Blue Lagoon. It's near the airport just off 836.
It looks like there's a ramp near Kennedy Park, close to Dinner Key Marina. Any info would be appreciated.

I have launched your boat at Haulover many times. It's probably 30 min ride by boat to downtown Miami.
I think it is one of the better ramps. I remember at least 4 boats can launch at the same time, each with a long dock on the sides. It isn't one of the typical FL ramps that go from the flat parking lot to a 45 degree slope within 2 freekin inches.
They have a full service marina/ship store & high octane. Parking is cheep & safe too.
The only thing that sucks is a fairly long 5mph chug.

You really should take a ride down to Gilberts in the keys. It's a great ride (once you get used to tooling across Biscane Bay in about 4 feet of water. Check my old gps, mabe there is still a track line saved somewhere??

DJD,
Is Haulover just as steep as all the rest of the S.Fl. ramps? I thought it was a little better (shallow, less steep).

Crazy,
If you have DJD's old boat, all you have to do is put it in the water and the boat WILL take you right to Holiday Isle. Best TIKI BAR in the Keys.

ENOUGH SAID
