I have a 100 ton Master's now. It took me about 3 years to accumulate enough time on a vessel in that weight category. We don't have many boats here in Erie,Pa. that are much bigger than100 ton. I have always wanted to be a harbor pilot or one that pilots ships through the locks in the great lakes.
