I'm with Warparty, not with me on it.

He must have been working his tail off to get it to do that.

I see he wears a helmet for protection at 165....good move.

Very cool just the same.

Has he thought about seeing what he can do with one of the new Machs?

I was @ 10? about two hours ago ..and to be honest when the lake is smooth your body has no idea how fast its going after 80 or so .. Im not bellittleing the guy .. Im just saying that I think some of you that say no way not me , would be going faster than you would have thought you would after a couple passes ..

wow! But that is not a full body sled. looks like a por mod to me, but still a great achievement. I had custom triples from bender racing and the crank shop when 600cc sleds wre the big stuff. Had a bender racing 850 triple in a indy 400 back in the 90's. went 115 mph when stockers did 90. Last custom was a crank shop 925 agian in a indy and it dynoed at 220hp ran 122 mph all day long. Now after many thousands and lots of fun I run the bone stock stuff.

This guys built alot of sleds to get to where he is and we've got another quad he's built in the shop for pipes now. He's hoping to run 175 before the seasons over. Ye Hah! I 've gone 135 mph on ice and ashpalt and it really feels no different than running 100+. The big difference is how quick things happen at those speeds.

850 in an old polaris chassis would of been interesting.

It doesn't really matter, old mach or new mach, the plastic is the only thing that's still stock.

Under the hood.

When I was younger I came off a sled at 80mph. I will never forget it. Doug

Damn that's fast!! The pipes on that sled are sick, must sound awesome!

I've done 110 on a sled and 145 on a bike, both were PLENTY fast for me when there is nothing between you and the ground but some skin and a little bit of fiberglass...

With stock production sleds nearing the 130 mark, I guess 200 on an unlimited will be coming real soon. A buck 65 is awsome but I think its just a starting point for whats coming in the next year or two.
