Outerlimits to try and Break the Speed Record !!!!

Screw Miami - New York . . . that'll NEVER happen.
Miami-Nassau-Miami, or even Miami-Bimini-Miami would be JUST fine.
Miami-Tampa ( or Key West )-Miami, even.
The Annual Manufacturers Invitational.
Agreed - my money is on Reggie. . . although Cigarette could take the opportunity to re-establish the validity of that 80's "World Champion" logo that they put on EVERYTHING.

It really dosen't matter if OuterLimits or anyone else for that matter ever wins the Kilo title because Mr. Fountain will use a newly designed hull with an Atlas booster rocket strapped onto it to regain it the following weekend.
Ya gotta admire the competitive nature of these guys. They don't quit.
Reggie has "200 mph V-bottomitis". I think he will eclipse that speed in a V-bottom. I think you will see him out there in a slightly longer boat maybe a 44'er with a very efficient bottom and about 3,000 HP. Mike can build very dependable power over at Sterling and I am sure enjoys the exciting aspect of these runs.
So my prediction is that Reggie will always have the title. Anyone care to argue?

Does anyone know the whereabouts of any video footage of any Outerlimits running over, say, 140 ? ? ?
Sure would like to see it . . . ( this is not a knock on OL ) . . .
That Fountain sure looked stable at 170.
