Best Cuban Rest. in SoBe!? BOATS!
#1
I put this in the "bilge" as well. So, what is your favorite, possibly lesser-well-known place for Cuban food (dinner) in Miami's South Beach area? Looking for someplace new to try this week while we are there for the boat show. (Had to mention boating here... lol!)
Thanks,

If you want really good Cuban Food, try Lincoln Road cafe, at the corner of Lincoln and Michigan. The food is great and prices are very reasonable. I live in sobe, and know that alot of the locals go there. If you want more of a scene, try Bongos at the American Airline Arena, which is owned by Gloria Estafan and has amazing food. See you at the OSO party.

forget about the touristy places on Lincoln Road.....if what you want is really good cuban food, klaw is correct,...... best cuban food is at Puerto Sagua, 7th and Collins....been around for over 50 years, great food, very reasonable, in fact down right inexpensive, not much to look at, but the food is excellent.......Lincoln Road Cafe is also very good

Thanks for the info guys! Went to Larios last year, it was decent and all but a bit too "commercial", looking for substance over style this time around

What ever you do , DO NOT EAT at "El Viajante" on 17&Collins. The kitchen is filthy, full of cock roaches and rats.
Eat at "PortaSagua" 7&Collins, or if you want fine dining try "Yuca" at Lincoln & Pennsylvania (excellente)
