I agree a lot of their boat tests are done on boats the average guy couldn't possibly afford, 500 - 1 mil range. Just look in our boats forum, the majority of threads are in Baja, formula, fountain, sonic, and then look how many nor-tech and O.L. have, they show what most of us are driving.

I'm not sure I understand your point. Teague owns a major marine performance engine wholesale business, has raced all kinds of boats successfully, has conducted countless boat tests, and has years of experience in repair, rigging and maintenance..... Other performance mags use either someone's service manager...or , worse yet, ...a bodybuilder, to serve as tech editors.

I repeat...Teague is the best tech editor in the business.

I don't know if you know the history behind the remarks made here.... There is a VERY good reasong they where made. But.. This isn't my fight, I'll let Reed explain. If he pulls his head out of the Y long enough to read this. :drink:

Have Teague marine build an engine for you that lasts 4 hrs and explodes..... Then have him tell you it doesn't matter that the oil filter was plumbed backwards and it isn't his fault and he won't stand behind it.....
