I was there for the auction, Just to clarify the TG went for $77,100.00 don't think it was a great deal.

I think that is cheap for a big powered 1994 38 TG that runs in the mid 90's. Martin had it for sale last spring I believe for 129. Last summer a 1993 stripped 38 repo went for 30,000, I would give 77 all day long if I was in the market for a Tg. Steve

The transom was wet (pegged the meter) and we were told the motors were hurt. Its been sitting for about a year and 8 months. Hope the drives are ok. To big of a gamble.

more info yo can about boat . Every one thinks we are trying to pull one over on
everyone . The boat is what is and we can only give the second hand history on

LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR
I do not believe in your type of sales tactics!!!!!!
I have NO respect for you!!!!!
I DO NOT KNOW THE ORIGINAL OWNER!!!!!! I know the people that were around him at the time of the Repo.
I DO KNOW some info but would not share it with someone that uses your type of sales tactic!!!!!

GOOD LUCK
Scott (just another goof)

I got a similarly nice e-mail from Scott at Water's Edge; figured it was a waste of time to even post it here, I think he has spoken for himself just fine.

I just wanted the guys that had traveled far and some that were ready to make deals know what he thought of them. Otherwise I would have never bothered.

Wait a minute - are we "goofs" or "nitwits"? I get so confused....

What type of sales tactic are you talking about ? Was it the part where we pushed the steps away from boat or pulled the port drive off to repair the Gimbal ring so the boat would be in proper working order for the next owner.
Lets just end this !

Perhaps he's referring to the "we've got a zillion other offers on this boat that has been sitting here for months" tactic. At least, that was my first thought.
