280 K Plane Installation Instructions & Templates
Guys,
I just picked up a set of take off 280 tabs. Do any of you have a set of intall instructions and perhaps templates??? I would be very grateful if someone can help me out.

Dail,
You don't really need a template. You can take a piece of paper and place it up against the transom plate and take a pencil and rub it over the plate, or take a exacto knife and cut the holes out, to make a template. Just make sure that you have the template facing the same way as the tab will go on the boat. The indicator cable will be a big hole. Make sure you try to drill the holes as straight as possible as they must all line up in order for the tab to go on straight, if not, you just need to make the holes a little oversized. Use "101 Silcon Adhesive" to mount the tab to the transom, if you use 5200, you'll never get them off without destroying the transom plate or gelcoat/paint on the boat. I hope this helps.
