We've built quite a few 288's (both open-bow & closed) with HP525's since last summer, to us quite a few means 7 or 8 and everyone has run better than 77 mph, most peg 80 or 81, 82 all on GPS. Boat runs lights out with the new single stepped hull and rock solid.
