Wow, this thread was a hot topic back 5 years ago, did the 1800 hp motors ever live, did these guys ever build something that held up to the outrageous claims? Mercury racing is still in business so I am going to assume these guys were full of ****,Someone fill me in, Smitty

Smitty,We were in the tent displaying at Miami Show in 05 and I remember going over to their space and display in the tent and listening intently to the sh*t flying around and into prospective customers ears and I just made sure anytime I was around IT or listening to the MAGIC that I kept my pant legs rolled up about 12" above normal. Keith Eickert and I were standing pretty close during one of those graphic descriptions and his pants were rolled up 12" higher than mine !
