I can't wait! we are working day and night to have my boat ready for it. The last Poker run I went to was 1 year, 3 months, 20 days, 5 hours, 17 minutes and ? not sure how many seconds ago. Sarasota always has a great turn out.

Still missing half of the docks at the Hyatt/Ritz from hurricanes. Will be a lot of rafting as it is now. :(

It is at the Hyatt. I didn't know the docks were damaged.

Hyatt docks are fine, it's the docks in front of the "the Quay" that are damaged. The Quay is about to be torn down so doubt if they will be repaired anytime soon.

In my opinion, these PRA runs makes the Miami Boat Show look like a booger. It is total sensory overload being around the hardware there.

Hi, Yes, that was me. About 40 gallons of water in 60 gallons of fuel. That was a nightmare!

Always the coolest stuff. The thing like most about the Poker runs is everyone is so nice. Whether you have a $900,000 boat or a $20,000 boat you're treated the same. When I had my fuel problem, I had so many peple offer help. Bob Russel loaned me a $800 fuel pump to pump out the water and the staff at Poker runs America helped me get containers and dispose of the fuel. I also had at least 20 people offer help and advice. I think Poker runs are the best thing that ever happened to Performance boating.

Siesta Key Boat rental, I think it is at Dockside marina on Stickney Point rd. It might be called CB boat rentals?

Don't they also rent boats at Marina Jack's? I know they used to and that's basically right next door to the Hyatt.

Mike, not sure yet if I'm going up by boat or truck. I really like walking around the docks checking the hardware. If I do come up by boat we will definitely raft off if possible. We'll talk more as it gets closer. Good idea :drink: :drink:

I am sorta a OSO newbe and have never actually been to a poker run......my boat is way slow so certainly not gonna run...but a raft up sounds like a blast....I will keep track of this thread for details.

We need to hook up, those of us OSO'ers not doing the actual run. Hell we put a man on the moon in 1969 so we ought to be able to pull this off.

It's always a blast watching that group leave. I like watching the windows in the high dollar condos vibrate from the exhaust levels.
